Mr. Clarke is a consultant to the healthcare industry. He has twenty-five years of broad financial, accounting, and operational management experience in the biotech, healthcare, communications, software and services, and hospitality industries. He has led successful IPO, secondary, and private placement equity and debt offerings. He is experienced in managing finance/treasury, accounting, management information systems, tax, and tax administration departments in both public and privately held companies. From 2000 to 2003, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Visible Genetics Inc., and prior to that, was President and Chief Operating Officer of CCS Trexcom. Mr. Clarke joined Vasogen’s Board in March 2008.
