Mr. Elsley is a consultant. He is a Co-founder of Vasogen and served as the Company’s President from 1991 to 1995 and President and CEO from 1995 to March 2007. During this time, Mr. Elsley was responsible for assembling a team of industry leaders and scientific advisors with the requisite skills and experience to successfully develop and commercialize new healthcare technologies. Under Mr. Elsley’s direction, Vasogen advanced its Celacade™ technology from the fundamental research stage into phase III clinical development in cardiovascular disease and developed a new class of drugs designed to target neuro-inflammatory disorders. Mr. Elsley holds a Master of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.
