Vasogen to Present at Adams Harkness' Inflammatory Disease Company

Vasogen Inc. (NASDAQ:VSGN; TSX:VAS), a leader in the research and commercial development of technologies targeting the chronic inflammation underlying cardiovascular and neurological disease, today announced that David Elsley, President and CEO of Vasogen, has been invited to present at the "Trends in Inflammatory Disease" investor conference hosted by Adams Harkness on Wednesday, December 14, 2005, at the Omni Berkshire Place in New York City.

Guillermo Torre-Amione, MD, PhD, Medical Director, The Methodist DeBakey Heart Center, has also been selected as an expert panelist for the conference. Dr. Torre-Amione is the U.S. Principal Investigator for the 2,400-patient pivotal phase III ACCLAIM trial of Vasogen’s Celacade™ technology targeting the chronic inflammation underlying chronic heart failure. Vasogen recently announced that the final patient assessments in the ACCLAIM trial are expected to be completed next month, following which preparations for database lock and data analysis will commence.
